The details of these 18 crore orders include customers’ names, email ids, mobile numbers, and locations. Moreover, it also includes the details about exact dates on which these particular orders were placed and also the amount spent on the order.
“Domino’s India Data Breach – 13TB employee files and customer details,” shows the web page with a query box to fetch the details.
The worst part is that the hacker has also announced that payment details and employee files will also be made available online soon.
Domino’s India Confirms the Breach
It is worth mentioning that cyber security researcher Rajashekhar Rajaharia was the first to note the breach on Twitter.
“The worst part of this alleged breach is that people are using this data to spy on people. Anybody can easily search any mobile number and can check a person’s past locations with date and time. This seems like a real threat to our privacy, ” says Rajashekhar Rajaharia.
Meanwhile, Jubilant FoodWorks has admitted to suffering a data breach. However, the company says customers’ financial information is safe. According to the company, they do not store any financial information related to their customers, including credit card details.
“As a policy, we do not store financial details or credit card data of our customers, thus no such information has been compromised. Our team of experts is investigating the matter and we have taken necessary actions to contain the incident,” the company spokesperson said.
